Following on from last month’s article which related to the popular boy band JLS visiting the ‘Frurt Frozen Yogurt store’ on the Spinningfields Road, Manchester, we at Taylor UK are delighted to report the young owners of this business have won the entrepreneur of the year title at the 2012 Fusion Awards ….
Syed and Shaza Ul Hassan were recognised for their business acumen in creating ‘Frurt’, which already has two stores, and were honoured with the Bootstrap Enterprises entrepreneur of the year award at a glittering ceremony at Ewood Park in Blackburn.
Frurt’s popular fat-free frozen yogurt is freshly made on-site through Taylor soft serve machines and has proven popular with celebrities including boy band JLS amongst many others.
Shaza said: “We have no idea who nominated us for this award and we were shocked to have been shortlisted – and even more shocked when we discovered we’d actually won the award”
The couple launched their first store in Whitworth Street West, Manchester, in July 2011 and have already extended to a second store in Spinningfields, with plans to extend to five premises by the end of 2012
Syed says our aim is to keep our stores different, or rather more unique, with the help of a specialist shop designer
Shaza added: “We know that our delicious healthy yogurt is the reason our customers returning time and time again; but now we can say we really are an award winning business, which we hope will attract even more customers.
