Expert Advice - Get that perfect peak...

Have you ever wondered how to get that perfect finish on your soft serve ice cream when dispensing onto a cone?

 

Well it’s a really easy procedure, all you have to do once you have filled the cone, and before you pull it away from the machine, is simply push the Ice cream slightly into the dispense nozzle then pull it away, this will result in the perfect tear drop peak on the top of your cone.

2. Slowly lower the cone.

4. Push the cone up slightly.

Top Tip – When serving soft ice cream on a cone, try to sit the ice cream on the rim and not to pour ice cream all the way to the bottom of the cone. Filling the cone completely costs you unnecessary product (and loss of potential profit) but it also can cause the cone to go soft and soggy quickly when your customers hold the cone in their hands. This isn’t great from a quality perspective but you want people to be seen eating their ice creams as this will draw more customers to your store!
