Taylor UK are now supplying the 5-litre Teddy mixer from Varimixer.

Varimixer is a Danish manufacturer of professional mixers with over a century’s experience. Each of their models features carefully considered design that focuses on ergonomics, durability, hygiene and easy cleaning to guarantee a long working life.

The Teddy 5L is a compact countertop unit ideal for small daily tasks in a variety of kitchens and bakeries. The speed can be precisely controlled via an infinitely adjustable knob that passes through the unit, allowing it to be operated from either side. The speed control also functions as the click lock for the tilting head.  The mirrored control function makes it easy to install in confined spaces, as it can be sited against a wall and still be used.

Teddy’s chassis is made from precision cast aluminium. It features rounded corners and no external screws or openings which makes it easy to clean. The high quality motor runs quietly, and unlike most other small mixers is capable of mixing heavy ingredients at slow speeds.

A fixed safety screen surrounds the mixing arm, protecting both ingredients and operator while allowing the progress of the mixing to be monitored. Safety can be improved with the use of the detachable filling tray and splash guard that are included with the unit. A wide base and suction caps ensure maximum stability while in use.

Teddy 5L also comes with a five litre mixing bowl and lid, along with a 2.5mm wire whip attachment, a beater and a specially designed hook which kneads and turns the dough to perfection. All these accessories are made from hard wearing dishwasher safe stainless steel.

The Teddy 5L mixer is available in four different colour options, coming in pure white, red, black and silver grey with an attractive powder finish. An optional attachment drive is also available to mount a stainless steel meat mincer, if required.
